Delilah in the Dales

Delilah's next area was the Yorkshire Dales.

Her first place to visit was Castle Bolton. It was an amazing area, with views for miles around of the dales.

The best part of Castle Bolton was all her distant family that lived there.

Delilah continued on to Aysgarth Falls, she wanted to take a selfie in front of it but the bridge she was standing on was very unstable and she didn't want to fall into the falls.

After going to Asygarth she went to the small town of Hawes. Home of the famous Wensleydale Cheese Creamery. They were giving 30+ free samples to anybody who could get there (Hawes was in the middle of nowhere.)

The creamery had a nice restaurant and Delilah tried some of their amazing lemonade!

After visiting Hawes she explored the rest of the Dales.

Delilah visited some small towns such as Arncliffe, Plateley Bridge, Buckden, and Grassington.

Delilah loved the Dales, they hosted her sheep family and everywhere you went everything was absolutely beautiful. The only problem was that during the winters in the Dales, it was impossible to drive. You had to get out of your car and spread your own salt on the road. So, Delilah decided to keep exploring.

  1. It is so interesting that Delilah visited towns in the middle of nowhere! How are your Sylvanian critters dealing with the new, well-traveled member of the family?
